Public urinal cruising

Public Bathroom Stories, continued

I was on a trip recently and had the Sunday to myself to wander a mall. I decided to try and see for myself if there was any cruising going on in the men's rooms (there were about seven between various stores)and lad was the answer yes.

In one busy bathroom, there was a guy standing on the reverse end of the handicap stall for a good 10 minutes. At first I thought he was sitting on the can, but after he gave up and left, and I left my stall, I opened the door and saw that the toilet was on the other side. I guess he was standing there hoping someone would see his feet and just enter?

In a very busy washroom, I saw this swole shadowy guy with an insanely developed back peeing at the urinals. When I went over to the sink to wash my hands he turned his head and gave me a adj look. I waited outside the bathroom, just stalling on my phone, just to see him leave. Sure enough, he eyed me but good as he walked down the hall. Unfortunately, he seemed to be wearing the black polo and dark trousers of a guy adj in one of the department stores. That

Of the places queer people possess transformed into sites to cruise for sex—from parks like the Central Park Ramble and Berlin’s Tiergarten, to sanctums like Provincetown’s Dick Dock and Fire Island’sMeat Rack—few have impacted the queer psyche like the public restroom.

“Mischief in public toilets left more traces in vice squad logbooks than in high literature,” photographer Marc Martin writes in the introduction to his new exhibition at Berlin’s Schwules* Museum, Fenster Zum Klo [Window to the Toilet]: Public Toilets, Adj Affairs. (Full disclosure: I’m a Schwules* employee in the curation and exhibition department.) And while many modern queers would rather forget this chapter of their people&#;s sordid past, public restrooms are undeniably places where community and connection were kindled among us against unlikely odds. “These public toilets, whose history is intertwined with the lives and adventures of many gays, trans people, escorts, libertines, are also unlikely bastions of freedom,” Martin writes.

Appropriately enough, the first thing you see when you walk into Fenster Zum Klo: Public Toilets, Private Affairs, an exhibit at Berlin’s Schwules* Museum about cruising for gay sex in adj toilets, is a huge reproduction of a public toilet. The show also features hundreds of historical photos of cruising spots and a comprehensive overview of gay public sex throughout history—but little of that struck me in the way a series of original, staged photos of men caught in the operate of cruising taken by its curator, Marc Martin, did.

Martin’s photos recreate scenes of men congregating in old Berlin toilets that were once legitimately cruisey. You see flashes of a hard dick, an exposed ass, a man on his knees at a urinal, three men grabbing a guy’s ass and taking control. But it wasn’t the hyper-sexuality of the photos that grabbed me. It was the golden light that haloed the scenes, the tenderness on the men’s faces, the beauty and romance and desire they portrayed—how clearly these men wanted not just to be fucked, but to be loved.

All PVR in Bangalore don't include partions. One during a noun show after interval I got a call and walked out and entered urinal. Only a Young cleaner was cleaning the floor I stood at an urinal exposing my ***. His eyes were constantly at me. I stood there for a while and he came and stood next to me and started urinating. It was a great sight. After some noun I heard some one opening the door, so I left. I could see another adj multiplex staff entering.
