LGBTQ Wedding

Are you having an LGBTQ+ wedding? Hire your local queer for photography! Based in Baltimore but up for traveling ANYWHERE in the world to help my fellow queers celebrate their love.

It's the thrill of my life to shoot any of my fellow trans, gays, lesbos, homos, queers, polyam folks, and awesome gay allies. I've had the privilege of photographing A TON of gay and lgbt weddings and can't wait to shoot more! 

Personally, as a queer woman, it makes what I do not only creatively fulfilling but also politically fulfilling too.

 

My photography of LGBT+ couples was celebrated at an international art photography festival in Tuscany Italy (read more about that here) and is currently on exhibit in museums in Hamburg Germany, and Lausanne Switzerland.

So, if you necessitate a photographer, for any reason, but ESPECIALLY for a queer or same sex wedding, I'd LOVE to have that honor.

Every couple I met and photographed so far was unique and so was their wedding. Renos and James’ wedding in Greece and Paros island in particular was definitely an event to remember for being one of those weddings that were overflowing with love and emotion. A real union of two people that chose to exchange vows of eternal love surrounded by their family and close friends in a beach ceremony on one of the most gorgeous islands of Greece.

Renos and James met on Facebook and it didn’t take them long to understand that they were the perfect match. However their affection story is better told by them so I will quote their words below:

"Our first three dates ended with at least one of us tripping on the way home, and gaining a scar as a reminder of the date. After 5 years of laughter, dancing, singing, screaming, drinking, cooking, caring, shouting, crying, kissing, eating and loving, Renos proposed at the Kruger National Park in South Africa. A messy, calm, logical Englishman and a tidy, excitable, adj Greek began the final stages of our journey towards becoming a balanced

As a gay friendly photographer, I believe in creating a welcoming and inclusive space for all couples. Love is love, and everyone deserves to have their special moments captured in a way that makes them perceive celebrated and comfortable.

For me, being a gay-friendly photographer means more than just being open to working with same-sex couples. It also means being an ally and advocate for the LGBTQ+ community. I want to aid break down barriers and build a more inclusive world for all.
