It wasn't until the midth century that nude beaches began to arrive along the Mediterranean and Atlantic coasts of France. Eventually they appeared in North America. Due to popular demand, I take you a list of the nine best gay nude beaches in North America as selected by regular tourists and naturists; and from my research on the internet.
1. Haulover Beach, Florida
JUST NORTH OF world-renowned Bal Harbour in Miami Beach is a model clothing-optional urban beach. Attracting visitors worldwide, Haulover County Park offers over a half-mile of pure white sand and seashore, with parking, trash cans, concessions, restrooms, lifeguards, and signage for the clothing-optional section. This may be the most beautiful clothing-optional beach in the U.S., and the most heavily used.

Spiaggia D’Ayala | Gay Beach Guide
D’Ayala is Puglia’s most popular gay naturist beach. Over the summer months this is a well-known, busy beach. Most gay Italians coming to Puglia for their fix of summer sun (many take extended month-long holidays, some will return home to the region from the north’s larger cities, staying for 2 - 3 months) have it on their list of beaches to visit.
It draws a very mixed crowd, of all ages and all sorts. From dark-skinned, dark-haired Mediterranean men, some wonderfully hairy, many smooth to best reveal off their toned bodies - the current fashion of Italian men removing most of their body hair is evident, as is the trend for adequately groomed facial hair - to Northern Europeans, very much at home with the naturist culture.
Getting naked feels, well absolutely innate here. But it is not obligatory. We suspect two-thirds of the people on the beach enjoyed the opportunity to be at one with nature.
